Nappy In Bowling Green! (Reply to this comment)
by young1028
Nappy Roots are from my hometown, most of our friends knows at least one member. I've been amoungst them myself. Very nice guys.
I'm so proud of them, they give me a warm and fuzzy euphoric feeling! My favorite song is Po'Folks, BTW!

as Nelly did for Misery.... er, I mean Missouri.
Sounds likes a slightly G'd up Arrested Development. I mean, that's the impression I get when thinking of southern-fried music. I enjoyed the read...

I've heard of Nappy Roots, although knew nothing about them until this fine review. Although I'd never heard the term 'backpacker' used in that context. Thanks for the hip hop eduction. I might have to just whip out my Nelson George "Hip Hop America" and rekindle my association :)
