My family just loves outdoor cooking. We even grill in the dead of winter on the deck with our Weber One-Touch Silver 18.5 Grill! When I purchased this grill from ACE a couple of years ago, it was one of my smarter buying decisions.
Since now is the perfect time to buy end of season grills and accessories, I highly recommend checking out my Weber grill of choice while the price is right!
The Weber Name
When searching for the best grill for my family, I had my husband aka "The Master Chef" in mind. I knew that he wouldn't accept anything short of quality and perfection. I intuitively knew that he wanted a Weber Grill!
My husband is right in knowing that Weber offers a good, well-built grill that is guaranteed to last at least ten years! The name Weber immediately brings to mind ingenuity, consumer dedication, excellent craftsmanship and leadership in grill design.
What I Looked For
As I tested several grills in the store, I was sure to check for sturdiness and a solid design. I didn't want to buy a grill that was weak or had a wobbly stance. I also wanted a grill that my husband would be able to assemble quickly, so that we could start grilling sooner, rather than later. It took him all of ten minutes to get this baby up and running!
Weber grills are made of high grade steel and the porcelain-enamel finish is baked right on for longevity and rustproofing.
Some of the grills that were assembled in the store for display purposes had legs on wheels and some had no wheels. The store salesman showed me the differences between well built Weber grills that had strong sturdy legs and wheels that rolled easily compared to some of the less expensive, no name brand grills that looked cheap and the wheels rolled poorly.
What I Chose and Why
I finally decided on the Weber One-Touch Silver 18.5 Grill because I loved the kettle design and all of the parts seemed built to last forever! The top was well rounded and fit tightly into the bottom. I did not have to force it on or off! The grates were strong and offered plenty of surface space for grilling what my family loves to eat; chicken, steak, kabobs and large burgers.
And, did I mention that our Weber grill is affordable? Knowing my spouse as I do, I know that he stongly believes in getting great value for his money. I caught a super discounted end of season sale, buying our dependable, rust proof grill for only $49.99 plus tax.

Yes, Weber is a confident manufacturer that definitely stands behind their grilling products! They even offer a ten year Warranty on the Nylon Handles and a one year Warranty on the Cooking Grates and Charcoal Grates!! And, if these warranties are not enough, there is a five year Warranty on all other parts!
Final Thoughts and Recommendations
We have been using and enjoying this perfectly wonderful, durable, sturdy, easy to clean grill for almost three years now. We have had no rust spots whatsoever on the body or on the inner surfaces of our Weber One-Touch Silver Grill. The simple fact that my husband is sometimes negligent about keeping our grill covered and protected from the elements, yet we still have no rust is proof that this manufacturer goes the extra mile to ensure consumer satisfaction.
A few other features to consider when shopping for your Weber grill is that there are sizable air circulation vents on the lid and on the bottom of the bowl, the solid construction of the two wheels and this grill uses charcoal. My family and I prefer charcoal flavored foods to foods cooked on gas grills.
I highly recommend buying and using the Weber One-Touch Silver 18.5 Grill for all of your grilling needs.
