Like many of you. I end up getting tons of crap on my computer when I am online. The more I surf, the more junks/spyware gets on my computer. The worst part about these spyware is that I don't know where its coming from or how it got there in the first place. But I am clueless when it comes to getting rid off them without messing up my computer. I am not a computer geek so when it comes to computer, I just know how to type, research, and play games. I came upon Webroot Spy Sweeper at my local Office Depot and figure what do I have to lose with $30.
The installation of the program was simple and I was done in seconds. Using the Spy Sweeper is also very easy. Once installed, you will get a short-cut icon on your desktop. All you need to do is click on it. After spending about 10-15 minutes scanning your computer, Spy Sweeper will show all the spyware that was installed in your computer. Once its done, it gives you the option to delete them or not. If you choose to delete every spyware program, the Spy Sweeper will delete them from your computer. The good thing about the Spy Sweeper is that it gives people like me, who knows very little about computers enough details about what I am erasing. If what I am erasing is important to other programs, it lets me know ahead and lets me decide. By letting me know ahead which programs will and won't work after erasing the spyware software, it prevents me from erasing something that may crash my computer.

I continue to use this software to keep unwanted computer virus off my computer. It is as easy as the first day I installed it. The software and the definitions continue to be updated to keep the most dangerous virus and spywares off your computer. It is a yearly subscription and so needs to be renew every year. It is a great addition to other softwares you might already have. If not, please check for free software and firewalls at www.download.com. This website have some free and easy to install software to protect your computer. Remember, nothing is fool proof....just stay off sites that you don't trust and never ever click on something you don't know. Finally, never open an email when you don't know who the sender is....follow these simple rule and you should be safe...if all else fails...you can always reformat your hard drvie.
