sparkie2's Full Review: Whirlpool Whispure 510 Air Purifier
I am very pleased with the Whirlpool Whispure Air Purifier. The fan's low speed is fairly quiet for sleep and the high speed is no louder than a regular fan. I spent a great deal of time investigating air purifiers at appliance stores, on line, consumers reports, and opinions on the air purifiers and I am glad that I picked this one. I am sleeping better and the house smells clean and fresh all of the time. I smoke and it immediately removes the smoke from the air as well as the smell. I live in the country and there is a lot of dust, soot from the fireplace, and smoke from summer burnings. The Whispure air Purifier has worked wonders. It even removed order from cooking fish and broccoli in just a few minutes. The Hepa filter and prefilter can easily be replaced without any tools. It has light monitors letting you know the condition of the filters and when they need to be replaced. The filters are not too expensive and it is recommended that the Hepa filter be replaced once a year and the prefilters around 3 to 4 months. I like the sleep mode that stays on for 8 hours and then returns to whatever setting you had it before you placed it in the sleep mode. This air purifier does it all, a lot of the purifiers I investigated did not remove smaller particles from the air and were not recommended for smoke.
