The Fuzzbuster 3000 works great at detecting radar/laser at what I would describe as a medium distance from the source compared to other detectors. For the price (I got mine off of UBid.com for under $30) it is a great detector. The audible alarm is great but the visual alarm leaves something to be desired. Also, it is hard to tell if you are in city or highway mode and this thing goes crazy near businesses with alarm systems. It signals which mode it is in by beeping either once for highway mode or twice for city mode. It sounds simple but it is actually confusing when you hear the beeping. It is easier to turn it off and then back on so it will reset to highway mode. Overall I would say this is a great detector for the money.
