| grennric's Full Review: Xerox Phaserâ„¢ 6250/N Printer |
My company received these printers as a 'bonus' for renewing our lease contract on our large multi-purpose (B&W) machines. WOW - what a deal! We were using HP ink jet printers for color previously. These machines rip through job after job effortlessly and without any problems.
Some of them have become the 'main' workgroup printers for all print jobs, not just color, due to thier reliability. The prints are sharp and clear. Photos are are so-so.
The LCD display is helpful and tracks graphically the amount of each color toner that is left in the machine. The toners are really easy to replace right on top of the machine!
We use both the tray and the 'manual' feed (mysteriously refered to as Tray 1) every day.
Ours have served us for over 2 years now very reliably. In comparison, we have a couple people in our company that swear by HP inkjets - which have had to be replaced twice in the same last two years. Granted the ink jets are less expensive, but I believe over the life of the Phaser we will spend just as much on them - if not more after paying for all those liquid ink cartridges!
