| damansidhu's Full Review: Yamaha HTR-5640 6.1 Channels Receiver |
Amazing reciever for its price, i am using it with a 6.1 setup of Polk Audio RM6700 series and the quality is fantastic. The imaging is very nice and yamaha excels at its proprietary DSP modes. I also have a Sony 5 Disc DVD/SACD player which i could hook up to its 6 channel inputs. I compared this system with similar price ranged Onkyo and Harmon Kardons and the Yammie was as good as them. I think its a steal for the value you get for the price you pay. The 6.1 decoding is amazing though there are very few 6.1 movies out there.A clear winner in my opinion.
