Pros: Not to big, good sound and size
Cons: To expensive for their quality
The Bottom Line: Great sound quality but no bass these are good speakers, but if you want a good all around system there are better speaker systems out there for the same price

| Upinya's Full Review: Yamaha NS-P236 Speaker System |
These speakers are great quality, they have Volume Control, Balance Control, Bass/Treble Controls. All which are quite nice for setting your music to excatly how you want to hear it. But for $130 i expect a bit of bass with the system. If you crank the bass all the way up you can sort of feel it, but its nothing compared to what you can get from Altec Lansing or Harmon.
I personally returned the speakers, they didnt sound how i wanted them to. Although they did have great sound quality they just arent worth the money. The speakers do contain a sub output jack so you can purchase a sub if you want. But as i stated before its to expensive and you can get better sound from other systems, i personally like Altec Lansing now(i purchased a system after returning these Yamaha) Now dont get me wrong i love Yamaha i think they make amazing home stereo recievers and speakers but they just dont seem to know what they are doing with computers.
