Pros: Easy to setup out of the box.
Lots of functions to use.
Cons: Not enough reviews around the net on this product.
No blacklighting feature for the remote.
The Bottom Line: I bought with the intention of never buying a new receiver until absolutely necessary. This one will do it for me.

I've only used this product in my apartment. I'm not a sound buff or a THX junky, I just wanted something to utilize my 6 speaker satellite system (Polk Audio). I reviewed this product in the store which was on special but the quality was simply amazing even in the store.
I've owned the product now for about 6 months and I do realize this is an older model now. I still stand behind it 100% I don't need to rattle the windows and I don't need something that pros can pick it a part. It's completely satisfying and great with my speakers.
It has a function for "Night" mode so that I can watch an action flick in the middle of the night w/o waking the family. The explosions, screeching tires are easily picked up by the rear speakers even in this mode. The settings are fairly simple to setup right out of the box.
The remote is great however I wish there was some black lighting to it so that it's easier to navigate in the dark.
My wife loves the thing and it's almost child proof as my child has had numerous contacts with it. It doesn't generate a lot of heat, unlike my last receiver. It's basically setup as my HUB for all the audio / video devices and works like a charm!
Cons:
I wish there were more reviews on the net regarding this product. I also wish the remote had the blacklighting effects.
