Pros: Easy to use and makes quality larger "normal" sized loaves.
Cons: I cannot think of any!
I have never had a bread machine before, and was tired of buying all of the processed breads in the store. Plus, who can resist the smell of bread baking? I purchased this machine about five weeks ago and I have been using it two to three times per week. I have made white bread, french bread, whole wheat, pretzels and pizza crust. I have had 95% successes. It seems as though the two semi-failures were recipes from the manual -- we still managed to eat the entire loaves though. I have a lot of success using other recipes.
It is very easy to use and the manual is very clear. If making a smaller loaf of bread you may want to reshape and even it out in the pan at the start of the last rise so it bakes evenly. That is also a good time to remove the paddles as well as add any crust embellishments such as egg wash and seeds, oatmeal, spices, etc.
I hope that this machine lasts a long time because I am smitten with it! All of my friends have been enjoying my fresh baked bread. I even had a friend that owns a bar ask if I would like to sell the pretzels at their bar.
