Resume logic described. Thank you! (Reply to this comment)
by sandispires
I always want to know if a player has "full-transport logic" (as it is sometimes called). Yet most reviewers never mention this point. Thanks for this information!
[from the review]....two resume modes 1) when you turn the player on it resumes the last song you were playing at the beginning, or 2) it resumes the song at the same point ....

distortion? (Reply to this comment)
by chiminou
I read a review (not in epinions) where it said that this player has distortion when played at very high volume, have you experienced that?
iRIVER products aren't available here (quebec) in stores, but just through the web! and it cost up to 260$ with S&H... so it's a big decision to make for me!
very good review. If I could I would give ya a Most Helpful.. but I can't!

They're pretty good as far as earbuds go, and some articles have said they were made by sennheiser, but I can't confirm it. You're right, though, and we don't use either.

You did a good job reviewing this product; so much so that I may be shopping for a new cd player soon!
I don't understand why the audio player manufacturers don't sell two versions of their product, one with and one without cheesy earbuds. I have never had a good set of earbuds arrive 'free' with a player. Our house has a drawer with several of these included earbuds, and I wish that I could choose not to buy them!
Thanks for the review!
