her ‘gramps’, my step-pop passed 7-26-12 as she has been seriously weaning herself away from the majority of the wet foods we do serve the other big guys, regularly. It is not unusual for death of loved one humans to affect the pets that were truly moved, touched, sensed and understood by the gifted human (btw--my eldest surviving step-brother is equally gifted with understanding animals); and as far as little ‘muggie’ is concerned, she is in mourning and fasting is proper.

Okay we won’t argue with her and this was the last can the other two cats nibbled at, and we won’t be buying it for awhile as step-bro introduced them to something better, a bit more costly and I’ll write on it soon . . . Anyway, this case of Purina Fancy Feast Chunky Chicken Feast -24 x 3oz lasted forever or so it seemed and like I said, only two cats really participated so it’s a 6 ½ paws up on the feline meter.

The meat in Purina Fancy Feast Chunky Chicken Feast 24 x 3 oz is thick but bite size portions drowning in rich chicken broth gravy. The color is tan and beige-brown. The can fits in a small childs hand gold colored metal with a white smooth matte flat white color on the inside lining it for some safety measure.

Right on the label it tells you “Feed an average sized adult cat 1 can per 3 ½ lbs of body weight daily; while twice that amount is suggested for kittens. The nursing or pregnant cats, 2-4 times their normal fed amount.

The simple fact is it seems like you can’t get rid of it no matter how many days you span apart from other things, they will turn up their noses and whiskers. The meat-by-products just make me sick and if it rubs off on them, I know not to buy it anymore. it’s the last can, and there is lots of other wet foodies.

|| POSITIVES ||

You can recycle all the cans and they can be stored stacked taking up very little room in a corner of the cool pantry.

|| SMELL ||

Yes it is chicken and some funky vegetable chicken stock whipped into gravy.

|| TASTE ||

I don’t want to try some of the Purina Fancy Feast Chunky Chicken Feast -24 x 3oz but it sometimes masks the real thing and they gobble it up, but wow is that rare as we bought this case sometime end of May . . .

|| VERDICT (my) ||

If you have finicky felines who like variety but also demand pure quality, this is not a 4 paws up of one cat on the yummy meter. However, as a side dish staple in lieu of the really gourmet expensive no-meat by products stuff, you can slip one of these into their bowls and satisfy something.

I rate this a *** star achievement, sorry fancyfree !
