It's truly a shame that financial difficulties have forced most of the Boston Market franchises to close. I always enjoyed eating their high quality food at extremely affordable prices.
Boston Market is a sort of fast food hybrid restaurant. While most locations do not have drive through lanes, the walk-in service is available for dine in or carry out. Available in single serving combo meals or multi-person family packs, Boston Market's food consists of a delicious variety of meats, vegetables, and bread.
Honey baked ham, turkey, chicken and meat loaf comprise your meat choices. Having tried all but the meat loaf (I refuse to pay money to eat meat loaf outside the home) I can honestly say you can't go wrong with any of Boston Market's meats. My personal favorite is the ham. Vegetable choices range from spiced apples and a remarkably good creamed spinach to new potatoes, stuffing, and macaroni and cheese (I don't think mac & cheese is a vegetable though). They actually have many more vegetable options if none of these sound appetizing.
They also have terrific sandwiches if you looking to eat without a fork. Be sure to try the cornbread rolls too (sweet and delicious)!
Prices at Boston Market are very affordable. Ranging from around $5 for a "value meal" type combo for one including a drink to $20 - $35 for full dinners for 8 or more people. You can really spend as much as you want here. Boston Market is a great place to come for delicious home cooked food without the hassles of cooking the meal yourself. They're also a good source for filling your party needs or feeding friends and family. While it might seem a bit strange a first to eat honey baked ham off of a plastic plate using plastic utensils, I suppose that's how they keep the food so reasonably priced.
Most of the time I had Boston Market's food, I got the food to go. But the few times I ate in the restaurant, the facilities were clean and comfortable. The service has always been fast and friendly.
Great food severed quickly and affordably, what more could you want? If you can still find an open franchise, consider yourself very lucky!
