Pros: the arcade section is fun
Cons: the restaurant section has awful service and food
The Bottom Line: Would I go again? Yes but only for the drinks and games. I would avoid the restaurant portion like the plague.

GENERAL SERVICE (or lack thereof)
On January 6, 2001, I went to Dave and Busters Philadelphia with my fiancé and two friends and had one of the worst dining experiences in my life. We put our names in about 6:30 and were told the wait would be about 1 hour; after waiting 1 ½ hours, we asked how much longer it would be and were told another ½ hour. Finally 45 minutes later, we were seating (2 ¼ hours after giving our name!!). About 15 minutes after we placed our order, our waitress ran by our table saying our food would be right out; then 15-20 minutes later we received ¾ of our food. (The wrong dish was brought out for my fiancé so he had to wait an additional 20 minutes to get his food. The waitress never even apologized for messing up his order, she just said 'oh, that's what i thought you said'. (We thought that if she can't remember the correct orders, she should have written them down instead of relying on her memory).
We noticed that we only where given one set of silverware (rather difficult for four people to eat!) so I asked the server who brought the food if we could have more silverware since we only were giving one set (a rather simple request I thought). Well he threw a set of silverware and rushed away; leaving us two sets short still. We found an empty table and took their silverware since we know we would not be seeing our waitress anytime soon.
THE FOOD
I ordered the Portabella Ravioli Duo and it had problems; first it came out cold (but since our waitress never checked up on us, it made it hard to send it back) and it tasted as thought it was microwaved and then sat. Everyone at the table was disappointed with their order but ate it because we were very hungry (we were there for over 3 hours at this point!) and we knew the waitress would not be around for a good 20 minutes or so.
When we received our bill, we begrudgingly paid it (If the food was good and service was satisfactory, we would have thought that our bill at a little over $50 was a good deal; but for cold food and lousy service, this bill was a disgrace.) When their competitor (Jillians) is only about 15 minutes away from Dave and Busters, I don't know how they plan to keep customers.
THE GAMES
The games were lots of fun. They seemed to have something for everyone. They had the virtual reality games, a shooting gallery, a horse racing game, video card games, games in which you try to knock coins down and skeeball.
The downside was that many of the games were out of order. They might have had six of the same exact game because they were popular, but when three of them were broken, there is still a wait to play these popular games.
The upside was that many of the games paid out tickets which you could redeem for prizes at the end of the night.
CUSTOMER RELATIONS
I wrote about our experience to the headquarters of Dave and Busters on January 8 and as of today (March 2), I have yet to hear back from them.
