Hey! There's a Hooters just 3 blocks from where I live here in San Diego. Their wings are fabulous indeed, when I get around to eating them. I'm usually too distracted by the cheer-leading Hooters Girls! ;o)

So... are you still doing Atkin's diet 7 yrs later?

Cheerio,
Smorgy :o)

One last comment for old times sake, John..... (Reply to this comment)

John,

I'm making the rounds one last time to drop a few comments to those handful of "regulars" still left here at Epinions from the "good old days"...

I've decided to "fade off" into the sunset as my passion has waned for Epinions, but I wanted to thank you for your terrific contributions to this site over the last two years.

Corresponding and then meeting you at our Epinions gathering in NYC was one of the highlights of my time here, and you're a true beacon of light with your writing and your positive comments to so many writers here.

I know our friendship will outlast this site, and I'm grateful this site brought us that friendship.

No matter what happens in the future, I KNOW good things are headed your way.

Why?

Because a classy guy like you DESERVES all the good things life has to offer.

Godspeed, my friend. It has been a GREAT ride here together at Epinions.

that you've lost 25 pounds! I think you'll gain some back if you go back to high-carb meals, though. I don't diet per se, but follow the Soy Zone diet as a guideline. I try to balance my intake of protein, low-density carbs (veggies andc fruit) and monounsaturated fats at every meal and just use high-density carbs (potatoes, pasta, bread etc) as a condiment. M. fats are like olives, avocadoes, peanuts, peanut butter and almonds I think. Olive oil is best for frying. I doubt Hooters uses it!

Yummmmm ... now I'm craving wings!!!! (Reply to this comment)

I would have never considered them 'diet' friendly ... but your explanation makes sense! *lol*

Hubby doesn't care that much for wings ... but I figure it's a fair trade ... WINGS for me ... BREASTS and LEGS for him! *lol*

Thanks for the fun review!

Atkins does work..I lost weight on it and of course gained it back. I keep saying I'll go back on it..but not having sugar..well the craving just don't go away for me. Keep up the good work. jo
