We simply love to eat at IHOP!
One of my friend's all-time favorites is the fajita chicken omelet, sprinkled liberally with cheese. He usually orders a side of jalapenos. I'm queasy about eating chicken with their babies. I tasted it though, and it was delicious.
I like the Denver omelet. Yum.
Now that we are overweight seniors, we choose the Senior Omelets. We coat them with jalapenos and steak sauce. We drown the French toast and the multi-grain hot cakes in butter pecan syrup. There is low calorie syrup, but why bother after all the other indulgences?
Whatever is new we indulge in. For example we went wild when the stacker sandwiches were introduced. We were not fond of the funnel cakes, however.
We consume an endless stream of black coffee. The coffee is always just right - not too strong or too weak. Those of us who drink it black need it to taste good on its own.
Whenever we are hungry and wherever we are going, we can find an IHOP.
After Katrina, the IHOP in Baton Rouge, LA, was terribly busy, but the staff was still cheerful.
IHOP on Western Street in Amarillo, Texas, was open for breakfast Christmas morning. The staff served us breakfast cheerfully! Those dear employees who had worked all night smiled and wished us, "Merry Christmas!"
