Pros: Great pancakes and a very diverse menu. Pretty cheap and FAST and nice service!
Cons: Some jerk who thought not screwing the lid all the way on the syrup decanter and thought it would be funny, and was right! LOL! (nothing at all, really)

"Can you please pass the old fashioned syrup?" I asked h_nicholas when her family and I took a visit to the International House of Pancakes. Such an innocent question that sparked a night of laughter. What was supposed to be a quiet evening with a friend turned out to be one of the funniest things I laughed all night about, but I'll get to that later.
Okay, I must start off saying that I really like IHOP. When I first walked in I was greeted with a light smile and great service. We walked right in and got a table, on a friday night! Pretty fast. The dining area was very big you could hear light music in the background. The mood of the restaurant was very laid back and nice. We were seated in the back, next to the windows.
The waiter we had was very nice and handed us the menus and asked for drinks. I'm assume that they have a wide assortment of coca-cola products because I asked for a sprite.
The Menu is, surprisingly, very diverse for a house of pancakes. Everything from chicken sandwiches to steak and then to philly cheese steak sandwiches. It's kind of funny though. If you order something other than pancakes, it's like going to Red Lobster and ordering chicken. So, if that tickles your feet, then this place is for you. Pancakes, YES! Of course! anything you can think of; international pancakes, whole grain pancakes, blueberries on pancakes, strawberries on pancakes, breakfast samplers, and more. Basically, if you're in the mood for pancakes, this is the spot!
Since I haven't eaten hear in quite awhile, I ordered a Rooty-Tooty Fresh and Fruity with blueberries on the side. This meal comes with two pancakes with butter on it, and a plate with eggs, sausages, and bacon (BACON, BACON, BACON!). The waiter was very polite and helped us with our orders.
So some of you might be wondering, "How long is the wait for food?". Well, I'm proud to say it was very quick! Around 5 - 10 minutes I was surprised! Fast service everyone!
Eh heh heh heh... So, back to what I was saying about the syrup at the beginning. I asked for the syrup and h_nicholas looked at the choices, which there is four (strawberry, blueberry, pecan, and old fashioned). So, I wanted old fashioned and she grabbed it and as she picked it up and started across the table the bottom part of the decanter fell of and made an THUNK on the table and the syrup flew out of the top and went across her shirt, lap, her son seated next to her, and over them on the floor! (LOL) She was still holding the top part of the decanter when she realized what happened!! I immediately burst into laughter and everyone in the the restaurant enjoyed the show! I could not stop laughing the whole time afterwards and I took forever to eat. The waiter was really nice and gave her a wash cloth and helped clean up. ....Oh, man. It was just too funny!
(Check out h_nicholas's review of IHOP and HER point-of-view of the whole "syrup incident"!)
Okay, okay. The Rooty Tooty was very good. I loved the bacon, and the sausages were great. The pancakes were delicious and so was the syrup on it (haha! A pun for h_nicholas!).
The Restrooms? Well, yes it was nice too. Sanitary, I guess. Very small, also.
So after I was done laughing and we finished, the nice waiter said bye and we paid for the dinner, which was about $20; around $5 a person. Hey! Not bad for a dinner and a show!
