You know, I am trying like hell to think of something clever and funny to say here.

I can't.

Just the fact that you felt an 18 pack of Bud was a necessary provision for a snow-bound weekend brings a smile to my face.

And McUzi? Fantastic!

My hat is off to you, amigo.

Hasta la Fez siempre!!

I think this review tells more about McDonalds than all of the reviews about their food combined, Why? Because after working and eating at McDonald's I can tell you from experience that this is not a one time occurance and who wants to eat with these kinds of things going on.

I loved your review. It's great how you made me laugh at one of the most frustrating things I often do, visit my local McDonald's, which apparently isn't much different than other McDonald's.

I've seen similar things happen at McDonalds. Why can't they serve breakfast until 11:30? Great review!!!

I realize that in the midst of several other comments the chance of mine acctually getting read is very slim. But I doo have to say that this is a very well done review. Even though it lacked in informative value, it made up for it one hundred times in entertainment. Good review. (Story)

McShittles (Reply to this comment)
by darkstarvn
I do NOT understand why 50 billion have been served ( and continue to be served ) McDonald's is horsemeat! Have you ever noticed you have to run, not walk, RUN to the bathroom after eating a BIG MAC. It is NO SMALL WONDER McDonalds is called McShittles. The only good hamburger joint these days is WENDYS!

Very funny the way you wrote it. Unfortunately McDonald's isn't the only place with such problems. Some people almost get violent if they can't get their eyeglasses in exactly one hour, etc. The list could go on and on.

Your epinion is the reason I surf this site. You never know what you will find.

My sister manages a McDonald's store, I wonder if they teach them strict breakfast/lunch changeover discipline in Hamburger University.

Great Epinion. Thanks for sharing it with us.

Hysterical Review! (Reply to this comment)
by mjohnson_55
I loved your review--very funny and very true! That had to have reminded you of the scene in "Falling Down" where Michael Douglas pulls out an ouzi when the counter person refuses to give him breakfast! If you haven't seen it, you must. That will make you laugh even harder. People are just so unreasonable sometimes--both customers AND fast food staff.

Great review!

I'm an assistant manager at the local McD's (more of a complaint than a brag) and loved every word of your review. I see you've got more comments than you can read right now, but had to add one more.
McD's is a good example of CORPORATE verification of the Peter Principle, just as my boss and the store owners are individual examples of the same principle. Great review! I think I'll write another (I've done one) while I'm thinking of it.

One hell of a story. Sad, but true. Been there seen it myself. Still got the hashbrown scars to prove it during my 5 week stint at the local Mc D's.

Very Original! (Reply to this comment)
by The_T_Meister
When reading and rating epinions, I always look forward to finding one as original as the "McMuffin Nazi". Not only is it highly original, it was well-written and, frankly, absolutely hilarious. Keep up the great work!

One side note: I didn't realize how long I had lived in Florida until I read about your overnight snow accumulation. In fact, it occurred to me that "snow" is no longer a viable part of my vocabulary - thanks for the reminder!

I totally agree to that. Customer service jobs are just that- customer service, but someone swearing and yelling at the front people I don't consider customers. Those jobs DON'T pay enough to accept that kind of verbal abuse. It's such a relief to see some laid-back people once in a while.

A picture of our society (Reply to this comment)
by brucec32
I think this is an excellent microcosmic view of our current society. There are a lot of greedy, grabby selfish little lemmings out there who pitch a fit when they don't get their needs met.

Can you imagine what chaos there will be when a REAL emergency happens and leads to shortages?

I was so glad to read your opinion on the Mcdonalds mess. I work retail, although in a pharmacy. You would be surprised at how violent some customers can get.

As for the manager, I think that he has a choice to make. One problem is that once you extend the breakfast time, it will tend to keep extending. For instance, we have a rule that when someone is buying a prescription, we will ring up other purchase, up to 5 items. We limit it to 5 items because we are very busy filling the prescriptions and answering phones which is our main job. The 5 item ring up is a courtesy to pharmacy customers with just a few other purchases. You have no idea how many times I have agreed to do a couple of extra items for someone and started a major thing. People start grabbing extra items and then you have to do theres, because you did it for the first guy. One day I ended up stuck doing a full buggy, and another person with about 15 items. It just snowballed. It wouldn't have been a problem except then other people were getting mad because I was being a cashier instead of filling scripts. This is probably the the same sort of thing that can happen at the McDonald's, so it is best just to stick to the rules.
