Papa Murphy's advertises that other pizza companies sell large pizzas the size of Papa Murphy's medium. Papa Murphy's large is 16 inches, just like every other pizza place around my neck of the woods. Oh, its still a fair price, just don't be deceived. You CAN buy a large pizza cheaper than at regular pizza places. You DO have to get up off your keester and go get it, though, and then cook it. This way, you still pay, you just pay the electric companies. Doesn't that make you feel better about where your money is going?Papa Murphy's also advertises that other pizza companies charge something like $17 for a large. We all know that certain companies DO, but most large pizzas cost around $10. If Papa Murphy's isn't having a special, a large pepperoni could cost as much as $7.99. Not much of a difference for a pizza that you don't have to pick up or cook, is it? To top it all off (not the pizza) the sauce they use is just plain bad. Frozen pizzas have gotten better of late, and cost around the same as Papa Murphy's, if not less, and provide a good alternative. I, personally, only go to Papa Murphy's occasionally, as a change from real pizza or frozen pizza. When I DO go to Papa Murphy's I have to order my pizza with light sauce in order to even get it down.
Frozen is better
