Recently my husband and I stopped at a Ponderosa Steak House in Parkersburg, West Virginia. There was and advertisement on the TV that promised a free steak every Tuesday. We stopped in for dinner on this particular Tuesday wanting to purchase the dinner along with the free steak. We did get the free steaks, however when they arrived, they were hardly edible as they were so tough with gristle. Needless to say we left the steaks hardly touched. He and I were very much disappointed in the meal that we so willingly bought and paid for. I am not a very picky person, but I do expect reasonable tasting food for the money that I am spending. I would have rather spent the extra monies to have a steak that is edible and that taste good to the pallet. I enjoy eating at this type of restaurant, but in this case I will never go to this establishment again as I feel that we as well as the rest of the public is given the worst cuts of steak per the Restaurant's advertisement.

The service was minimal at best as we actually had to keep asking for a waitress if we needed coffee or any such amenities.
