Pros: Flavor is great. The pickle/pepper FFA bar is the best.
Cons: Pricy. Tiny worthless subs. Bread choices are lacking. Some branches now charge for extra veggies.
Quiznos is (or used to be) a high quality sub sandwich shop, offering a wide variety of toasted subs which were a nice trade-up for your standard Subway sandwitch. The ingredients seem to be of higher quality, their toasting method seems a bit more natural and classy. And their subs just taste really good in my humble opinion. However they have changed for the worse in recent months. One disadvantage is that they are a franchise, so the quality of food and service varies DRASTICALLY depending on which location you visit. Some branches now even charge you for adding items like olives and mushrooms to your already spendy sandwitch. Up to 50c per item! They have always been a bit pricy but you used to get a lot for your money, especially with the pickle & pepper bar at the end of your trip through the payment line. In the last 6 months, they have reduced the sandwiches to HALF their previous diameter! They are now about the size of a small baguette. They are still the same length, but you're getting about half the food. I've been to two location in Oregon and I got the same crappy little subs. I'll try anything twice, but I'll never go to Quiznos again. :-(
