Pros: Excellent bread, only one left in my area
Cons: Overpriced for the overall quality, terrible customer service,
I love Quiznos sandwiches but they keep closing down all around here and I couldn't figure out why. Until one day, a coworker and I went to the only one left around here in Martin City and figured out why.
The store 'owner' has no understanding of customer service.
We placed our orders, paid and waited. We chated a little and kept getting interrupted by the cashier to let us know there was a new guy on the line it will be just a minute and I'm sorry, what exactly did you have so I can make sure he gets it right. Mind you, this would be the 3rd time she told them what she wanted. He just had kind of snobby attitude the whole time. Meanwhile, we were still waiting, no big deal we were chit chatin not even paying attention. Then I realized like 6 people had gotten their sandwiches, paid and left. They even had to redo mine because they had to open more black olives, still no big deal. We were on our lunch break so I finally realized we'd been waiting about 15 minutes for a ham and cheese so I asked him hows that sandwich coming along what's taking so long? He said that they had to open more black olives and remake it because they made a small instead of regular and besides he's new please just be patient with us we're working on it. I asked, I thought you had to open the olives to make my sandwich and there has been 6 people come by already does it really take that long to make a ham and cheese sandwich. Anyway it just escalated from there and instead of offering a drink while we wait or a genuine apology he acted like I should feel privileged to be eating at his store and if it takes 15 minutes to make a sandwich I should be grateful for that and enjoy using my lunch break to hang out in his store and watch his poorly trained staff try to figure out how to make a sandwich.
I finally told him, I don't care if you're a manager or not you don't talk to your customers that way it's very rude.
He looked at me and said, with great pride, I am not the manager I am the owner and you need to leave now.
So I did, happily, never to return and with answer to the mystery of why Quiznos was not everyone else's favorite like it used to be mine.
