Pros: Nothing positive at all!!!
Cons: They discriminate against people with disabilities.
We stopped at the Quiznos at The Shoppes of Amberly in Tampa FL for lunch. There were 2 people behind the counter and the store was empty! The one person was quite aware of the Federal Law allowing Service Animals, however, the owner wasn't. The one employee tried to explain to him regarding the law, all he kept doing was shaking his head NO and casting dirty looks. Tired of this, I advised the employee they would be getting a Federal complaint. We went home and I called Quiznos. I was forwarded to their 'Executive' office, left a message and no one returned my call. I phoned at 3:25 EST, their office is located in Denver, they are on Mountain time. I didn't receive a call back until late the next evening 5:28p.m. (this was a Friday). I was advised my complaint was taken very seriously and the District Manager would visit this location and advise them of the laws. Laws which when they signed their Franchise Agreement they agree to abide by. Not this location. The person - who I thought was in the Executive Office - she wasn't just a customer service person advised me I would receive a gift card for my 'trouble'. I did receive a gift card. A $10 gift card. They should have just sent someone to my home to slap me across the face. I will be filing an ADA complaint, this was just plain insulting. I am disabled and require a Service Animal (dog). Quiznos is just disgusting. Subway treated us much much better!
