Fun place, good food, but not a quiet place

This review pertains to the Mall Of America location. I can't comment on any other Rainforest Cafe location, I'm sure the service varies.

I try to visit the Rainforest cafe each time I visit the Mall of America. The food has been excellent every time, and the service has usually been very good also.

The restaurant has a fun atmosphere, with "thunderstorms" occurring every 15 minutes or so, many large aquariums and other animated and static animals. It is fairly dark and noisy inside and it could bother some claustrophobic people.

There can be a long wait, so it's best to make reservations on the phone or early in the day while you still have other things to do in the Mall Of America.

I will also add that the food seemed relatively inexpensive for what were getting.
