This Subway is in the Food Lion shopping center next to the haircut place. If you are out that way and want a quick bite the only other option is Wendy's. After my last experience my family and I refer to this Wendy's as the restaurant from h**l. I don't eat here much. Usually I'm in too much of a hurry. But, after my experience with the other restaurant I didn't feel there was much choice. If I wanted lunch it was going to have to be Subway's.
When you first walk in you walk up to the counter. On the other side of the glass display case you'll see an array of meats, cheeses and toppings. The server will ask what kind of bread you'd like and what you want on your sandwich. Then, the sandwich will be scooted to the next server who will put toppings on it, wrap it up and hand it to the cashier. The process usually takes a few minutes.
This time there was no line like there usually is. Getting the sandwich went really fast. The staff was great! I ordered the 6" tuna salad on wheat with lettuce and extra cucumbers. To drink, I got a bottled water and passed on the chips. This was much healthier than a fried fast food sandwich and tasted better too.
The bread was very fresh and I was well pleased with my sandwich. It didn't take any longer than a drive-thru would have. Plus, I got to eat in the store instead of at my desk.
The total cost was just over $5. I will definitely be back.
