Pros: Mmmmm, Mmmmm, Good ;)
Cons: None that I can think of... could be a bit cheaper...
The Bottom Line: Not bad for fast food. Tim Hortons offers fast, good meals at a reasonable price. And they make great donuts!

To steal the Campbell soup tagline, for me Tim Hortons is "Mmmmm, Mmmmm, Good!" I love Tim Hortons.
They make good donuts, soups and sandwiches. And apparently they make good coffee too, but I don't drink coffee so I can't say. But their hot chocolate is good. And they're close to my place, not to mention the fact that they're open 24 Hours. So when it comes down to it, what more could I really ever ask for?
The ambiance is warm and friendly, and the place is always packed. There never was a Tim Hortons in downtown Vancouver, where I live, until very recently when one opened on Alberni Street. I used to enjoy Tim Hortons in the suburbs of Vancouver, but when I moved downtown, I missed them. But then they opened one and I was happy again.
And it's an interesting store, for not many know that Tim Hortons is actually owned by Wendy's, and this new large Tim Hortons is split in two - more than a three quarters of the store is dedicated to Tim Hortons, a quarter of the store is dedicated to Wendy's. It's all one store, but they serve the food of both chains under one roof (although, I must admit, I've only sampled the Wendy's food once).
Sometimes, late at night when I'm working, I'll get the crave for food. And usually late at night equals after 1am. So not much is open downtown other than Denny's. But now I can walk up to Tim Horton's and enjoy a hot chocolate and a donut, or perhaps a hot bowl of fresh soup and a small sandwich. And the food is good. It's reasonably priced and well done. It's not gourmet food, but it's not crap either.
Sometimes, on my way to work, I'll pick up a dozen donuts, or a couple of dozen Tim Bits (which are basically nothing more than donut holes). But what this all equates to is convenience. Even though, at 0.75 cents a donut, I find that a little steap because not all donuts are alike in shape and size. I'd be a bit happier paying the 0.65 cents I pay for donuts at Safeway. But for a dozen donuts, it's $5, so the more you buy, the cheaper it is =)
But mostly, I find the restaurant to be very convenient largely due to its hours of operation. And that's that.
But I do have one question - if they're open 24 Hours, seven days a week, 365 days a year - why do they need locks on the doors?
