Pros: It's a rule that donuts CAN'T be bad in any way, shape or form.
Cons: I hate the coffee, unclean the majority of the time. One on every corner.
The Bottom Line: Coffee stinks, food is good.

| MagnumForce's Full Review: Tim Hortons |
Oh that's right. MF is born in bred in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. Birthplace of Tim Horton's. In fact, the ORIGINAL Tim Horton's is just down the street from my grandmother's house. That's how hardcore I am.
Why is this important you ask? Because Canada, and more specifically, the city of Hamilton, are saturated with this particular chain of donut shops. Quite literally, you will find one on almost every major intersection in Hamilton, it's gotten that bad.
But what of the place itself? They MUST be doing something right...right?
Well, yes and no. And you'll be surprised at what I think is 'yes', and what I think is 'no'.
First the good. The donuts at Timmy's are always A-1 crazy nice. I don't know if it's massive amounts of preservatives or what, but Tim Horton's consistently has the freshest and best tasting donuts around. Even on par with the great American favorite, Krispy Kreme. And in terms of other local shops, like Coffee Time, Dunkin' Donuts, etc. it blows the competition away. Basically ALL of the food at Timmie's is of high quality, now that I think about it. From sandwiches, to bagels, to biscuits, to cookies, they've multi-purposed themselves to hell, but have managed to do a good job with it.
Another nice thing about Timmy's is the customer service. Always with a smile, and always very very fast. Which they often have to be because of massive lineups.
Now the bad.
I'm sure the other 53 reviews all praise Tim Horton's coffee. IT'S A MYTH I TELLS YA. Tim Horton's coffee is gross beyond belief. I like my coffee black. At Timmie's I gotta put 3 cremes, and at LEAST 2 sugars to keep that horrible aftertaste from getting close to my tastebuds. It's not that it's too strong...it's the roast. Of course, you'll just say, 'That crazy MF, always going contrary to the norm', but I'm serious. I firmly believe, that much like McDonald's, the only reason that people think this tripe is good is because of the ubiquity of the ads and shops all over the place.
What else? Well, speaking from what I've seen in town, basically every Timmy's I've been to has been filthy in the seating area, no matter what time you go. The food/coffee prep area is SPARKLING, but the part where the customer sits is almost always dirty with some form of garbage or spills.
So that's about it I think. I'm not quite sure how much more one can write about a donut shop, but I think I've exhausted it.
The final recommendation? Go to the grocery store. Buy gourmet coffee. Drive to Timmy's, buy donuts. Go home. Get fat.
