Anthrax for your underarms? If that sounds crazy to you, then perhaps my title captured your attention. Remember when the Anthrax scare of years ago was going on? That was indeed just that, and my heart does go out to those, who lost their lives to some psychopath. Yet at the same time, it led to widespread panic, and any flaky white powder was often called in, to agencies as "potentially being anthrax." I am glad that these were false alarms, and I pray that such an event never happens again. Right Guard Sport(Fresh 3 oz) looks like that though. No joke, it looks just like that type of substance, that had droves of people flipping out.

That alone is irritating, because this chalky white powder, stays on your underarms all day. It gets on your clothing, and I even could feel it, before finally throwing this away. Right Guard does make excellent products, but I think they should consider discontinuing this one, and they may be with this being so cheap. You can get packs of six for $12, or just a bit more if you purchase them in the two pack sets. Don't do it though, because there are times to save money, but in this case its a miserable experience. You are going to spend money with extra laundry detergent to remove this from your clothing, so there's no benefit in all reality.

The odor is not to my liking either. While it does have a bit of a athletic, sporty scent, it smells a bit like an aquarium with a lot of algae in it. There's something distinctively unpleasant, and I found this to be offensive. While fish and those who are into keeping them as pets might appreciate this, I did not, and was especially concerned while jogging away from a rather large striped bass. In all seriousness, this odor is not especially pungent, in that it will clear a room. Yet up close, even my wife was not too thrilled by it.

For protection, this deodorant does not work effectively. When you jog or go biking, the white powder disintegrates. This allows it to seep into your athletic gear more, and while the canister says 48 hour protection, I find that hard to believe. Even with just a regular day, I don't think its very effective. I don't know where on the "Sweat-O-Meter" I am, but even after just a day at home, the aquarium scent dissipated and body odors made their presence known. That shows me clearly, that this is not serious protection. For active people, you are going to pay the penalty with this, as people will run away from you if you use this.

As for the canister, it is simple enough to use. There's a top that you remove, and a spinning bottom, that allows you to easily raise up the deodorant stick. I have no issues with that, and think its a good system. The active ingredient is Aluminum Zirconium GLY 14%. That is of course the anti-perspirant. Also included is cyclomethicone, PPG 14 butyl ether, hdrogenated castor oil, stearyl alcohol, cetyl alcohol, fragrance, and polyethylene. Two alcohols, but to its credit, no burning or skin irritation. It is made in the USA, but I don't feel especially patriotic with this, and recommend not purchasing it at all. It truly is horrible in my opinion.
