Pros:Washington Capitals, Great Illustrations, Rubber Quality
The Bottom Line: The Sherwood Washington Capitals Puck aka biscuit is a must have for fans.
The Washington Capitals again, are playing golf. Why can't they go to the Stanley Cup Finals, and win it? As a fan of years, I miss their playing at the Cap Center in Maryland, which was a dilapidated building. It was so much fun banging the roof above the cheap seats, and yelling so loud the decibel-o-meter would jump up. That's because we were mostly alone those days. Now the Caps are very popular, due to folks like Alex Ovechkin and Nicholas Backstrom, and you cannot get five dollar tickets anymore. While it is exciting to see them win, and Dale Hunter have made a quick return to coaching, I do hope that Adam Oates can bring them the Cup.

Until then, I dream of that moment when Lord Stanley gets lifted up. Yet I do have the Sherwood Washington Capitals puck, which looks really cool. I purchased it from the NHL shop, and am proud to have it in a display case. While there have been no autographs yet, I do hope one day to have my heroes put their pens to it. This puck is just like the ones that they play with, even though it is a replica. It has the screaming eagle on the front, and the NHL logo on the back. This is a good looking piece of memorabilia, that sits in my "man cave" downstairs. The graphics are excellent, and I have to say kudos on making it look cool, with an attention to detail. The artist should be proud.
As for the rubber used, its tough enough to play with, although I wouldn't do such a thing. Instead, it sits in its case, and has witnessed my yelling at the television many times. Oh Mr Green!!!!!!!! It is durable though, and has held up fine. Its a good memento to show my support, and I eventually plan on purchasing the special St. Patrick's Day one to go with it. At $13 it was a bit pricey, and along with the shipping of other items, that did add up. I have not seen it at any hockey stores, other than the one on the net and of course the Caps Store.
Would I recommend this product? Absolutely! If you are a Caps fan, this design and the way the puck aka biscuit was manufactured, it will be sure to last for years. I often look at it, and think of that day when the Stanley Cup is ours, but until then its just a dream. This is an excellent stocking stuffer for a Caps fan, or a collectible. You have to have one of these, if you are a fan, and it is a good looking puck that I love to admire. Plus, not playing allows me to keep my teeth.
