Pros:Cheap price, cord untangles easily, terrific sound quality, color vary
Cons:Breaks easily, cord produces "noise" during movement
The Bottom Line: I don't recommend it but then again we have different preferences.
First thing in the morning before I go to work and to "cancel" the noise of creaky, bone-shaking squeals of train tracks... I put on my high-priced white earphones/headphones* which broke after 3 years of use. Yeah, the quality is subtle but it has already served it's purpose.

My personal experience with Skull Candy Smokin' Buds Headphones.
I bought this simply to replace a broken headphone. Wow, I thought... it sounds great! It should do the job, it's just enough bass for me and the music sounds terrific - WHEN YOU ARE IDLE and not MOVING a muscle because when you start moving, it produces "noise" made by the cord. So when you are moving and the cord starts "flapping" you get that "flapping noise" too. I have migraines, it did trigger some attacks afterwards and as I was ready to throw it away - it made me think! I finally got a use for it, ONLY FOR LOUNGING PURPOSES. It does untangles easily, easy to break (careful not to pull those cords, it's rubbery and also contains the material responsible for delivering music to your ears), it's lightweight, has color variation availability, looks nice (and cute), earbuds comes in different sizes which surprisingly I found one that actually fits and most of all (and possibly because of low ratings) CHEAP price. Great for stuffing stockings for Christmas and will not break the bank (if you get my drift).
Why did I buy Skull Candy Smokin Buds Headphones?
Simply to replace a broken one and also the product is popular so I figured, it's got to be good.
What do I love about Skull Candy Smokin Buds Headphones?
Nice, subtle quality when user is IDLE. Literally gives you "hearing loss" (you can't hear your background when the music is cranked out on the highest volume). Easily untagles, cheap when it comes to price. It has a cute design (and even cuter heart over crossbones design). It also comes in different "candy" colors.
What I do NOT LIKE about Skull Candy Smokin Buds Headphones?
"Noise" it makes when there is movement, flapping cord causes flapping repetitive noise. I CANNOT use it when running (I love to run) and it's easily broken - broke after a few months of use.
*Product I don't want to mention. Extremely popular.
