I purchased this TV from Costco, and in less than 4 months, it no longer works. I called Sony and they had me try a bunch of things to troubleshoot the issue. After I tried all these, they acknowledged that it needed to be replaced and offered to send me a refurbished unit. I told them I want a new one, since it's only 4 months old, but they refused. DON'T BE FOOLED -- The SONY of today is not the same as it was many years ago. Their quality has slipped, and if you don't believe me, just ask a TV repair shop. I wish I had purchased another brand. Especially since Sony still charges more for their products since consumers still incorrectly assume Sony is high quality. Nice knowing you Sony -- you lost a customer for life.
