My wife recently smashed the LCD on her point and click Sony. We were able to claim insurance and roughly the payout figure bought this little beauty. It's very small so it fits in you pocket or handbag easily and is a snap to master in the easy mode. Lets face it most of us just want to point and click don't we.
The panoramic shot is awesome and I can see it getting a real workout on our next overseas holiday, the movie is very high res and the rest of the camera just does it's thing with the minimum of fuss.
Plenty of people will give alternative opinions, but for value and ease of use to the general public I can't beat this one.
