Don't misconstrue the previous comments; nobody ever said anything about including reviews of any games.

My husband is a gaming geek, and I was able to snag this recently on Black Friday for $199 with two games included! Unfortunately last year it was too big for our budget to handle.

Now that I've read your review, I know he'll be excited about all the possibilities! Thanks!

p.s. I agree with you that your review focuses on the PS3 unit and really doesn't need to include reviews on games! Gaming geeks will love your review!

That's understandable, but very few people by the PS3 just for it's multimedia options. The games make the system, not the other way around.

I did mention the games that you can play are not the one that are able to be played in the PS1 & 2. you can only play games that are made for the PS3. But That is as far as I am going with this review. When I start my game reviews I will put them in the proper spot.
Thanks for you insight.

It's not that you need to actually cram game reviews in here, but at least mentioning what types of games are available is a big help. What genres are strongly represented or severely lacking for the system.

If it's got a ton of FPS games and very few RPGs, for example, it's going to tailor to an entirely different audience. Or a billion versions of Rockband/DDR and no sports games. Usually a handy thing to mention, and something I always check on before purchasing a new system.

I am sorry that I did not review any Games, but this review was strictly about the new Playstation 3 console only, not the games. The games are a whole other subject and they have a seperate spot for the game reviews. So, if you would not mind taking another look at this review I would really appreciate it.
Thanks Harold

Hey man, this is definitely a VH review, but what about the games! You really only said that it can't play PS1 and 2 games and that new games come on Blu-ray, but not the kinds of games you can find on the system. Why buy a PS3 over the Xbox 360? What kind of games do you usually play and what ones are available on the PS3? What game came with the system you purchased for your son?

Add a paragraph or two on the games and such and I'll re-rate man.
