I bought one unit, set it up and I loved it. So I bought another for my son. Set the second unit up and it was great. Then it started having trouble OUT OF WARRANTY NOW it is skipping so bad it can not be played and now the first unit is skipping and it is not working.

I called Sony support twice and I have tried trouble shooting everything. Sony wants me to spend $119 per unit to trade not counting shipping. What, so the reconditioned player they send me can break like mine did?
We have not used these very much and they are not abused.
I would have thought they would have lasted for years.
I guess there is nothing else we can do except try to save you from trouble we've had.
