Having seen several events now in the new Conseco Field House, I am still amazed each time enter the building. Walking through the halls you feel like you are in a shopping mall or a museum, depending on where you are in the structure. Having seen both concerts and basketball games in the facility, I can say that there is not a bad seat in the house while watching a sporting event. It can be a great place for concerts as well however there have been some problems during concerts but I am not certain that is not more of a setup problem on the shows part and less a building problem. In addition to the regular seating areas, there are two separate suite levels. There is also a practice court that fans can look down into from the sidewalk outside the building.
If you appreciate Indiana history at all, you could spend hours just roaming the halls and checking out the displays highlight the history of the Indy 500, basketball, etc.
As far as ticket prices go, I think the Pacers are very competitive when compared to the rest of the NBA. Concert tickets are also right in line with other comparable venues.
I highly recommend a trip to the new field house whether it be for a sporting event or a concert. I don’t think you will be disappointed.
