I made my first ever trip to a Pacers game earlier this year. I had been to several events in the old Market Square Arena and was figuring that this was going to be a lot like that old dump! Imagine my surprise!
This place was beautiful! I walked in and there was memorabilia everywhere! I went in to my seat and as I walked through the tunnel, I could see all the craftsmanship that went into this place. The luxury boxes were placed just about half way up in a ring around the building.
There is a bar and restaurant on that same level where you can sit and enjoy the game while dining on whatever suits your mood.
The floor seats were rather stout but having no real comparison I will let you decide the value. I was 16 rows behind the Pacers bench. Close enough to hear Jalen Rose yell at the officials! The price for the tickets were $79.50. The upper seats had prices ranging from $25 to as little as $10 for the nose bleeds!
The price for the concessions seemed in the same range as other arenas that I had been to. They are always too expensive but the beer was good and cold. The beer guys and gals were prompt in coming around to service those of us who yelled until our throats were sore.
All in all I would say that my trip was quite nice. I didn't feel cheated at all even with the high ticket price and would love to have more time to simply wander around the place and look at all of the things that the place had to offer.
