Some people feel that this isn't the bast place to see a concert. Since I haven't seen a show there, I wouldn't know. But, for basketball games, this arena is the best. The aesthetics are superior to any other arena. The fieldhouse is designed like "old-school" high school gyms, to preserve the historic feel of Indiana basketball. You walk in to a huge atrium with a huge basketball in the center. This area holds the gift shop, and some other vendors. Then once you get to the actual arena, you'll be amazed. Conseco is a modern arena, that feels like something from years past. The seats are comfortable, and not only hold the sports fan, but the "old school" feel of the rest of the arena. There are some seats that just pull out from the wall, just like high school bleachers. This seats aren't as nice to sit in, and I would try to stay away from them. Overall, this is a great place to watch a winning team.
Aside from the great arena is the great location. Downtown, and only about two blocks away from the Circle Centre mall. This mall is full of most of the more popular stores, and a great food court.
