Pros: Weather doesn't influence whether to see a game or not.
Cons: TC Cap off, on my left breast in loving support of my team.
The Bottom Line: I loved it because of my devotion to the Twins. Sadly, those days may be numbered.

I finally made it to my first Twins game in May. I'm glad I found the time. As long as I can remember, I have been a Twins fan. Sometimes I was hanging my head low, and other times I was jumping for joy and watching parties in the streets of Minneapolis on my TV, people crying, people laughing, people shouting and smiling because they won another World Series. Yes I was there through thick and thin.
I live in Massachusetts but was born in Minnesota, so choosing the Twins wasn't as random as it seemed. In 1987, the Twins won the World Series. In 1991 I proudly wore a T-shirt with the words in their red cursive slogan style, "Minnesota Twice."
When I go to Minnesota, is primarily to visit, and my trip is usually planned around a wedding or a funeral. This time I was there during baseball season and it was for a visit. My cousin Rick brought his son Peter and me to a game. They played Seattle, and OH WHAT A GAME! The Twins won 12-11! I screamed myself into elated laringitis.
I ate a "Met-Brat" drenched in mustard and drank tons of draught beers at my cousin's urgings from plastic Twins cups, which I dragged home with me. I watched with awe as my Twins started the season strong. I savored this game, hanging on its every play, its every hit, its every catch... I had dreams of seeing them through another victorious World Series. I gazed adoringly at the banner counting down Kirby Puckett's days until he would be inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame.
Well, so I got ahead of myself with the World Series. Wasn't the first time, and I knew it wouldn't be the last. I knew it wouldn't be the last. Okay, so I got ahead of myself again. First the Minnesota North Stars moved to Dallas, and now this. I don't even trust The Vikings any more. Do I dare to love another team from Minnesota?
The Metrodome seemed SO small inside. And the drawback to an indoor game is there is no hope of feeling the invigoration of seeing a ball smacked clear out of the park.
