I had my first visit to Key Arena in Seattle, WA 4 days ago, when the Sonics played the Boston Celtics. I was very impressed with all aspects of the arena.

Let me first start by saying there isn't a bad seat in the Arena. I sat on the 200 level and had an awesome view of the court, players, and benches. The 200 level sits somewhat high above the court, but you are still close enough to hear the bounce of the ball and the squeaking of basketball shoes!
The seats in Key Arena are comfortable and roomy. There is ample leg space for even the tallest of fans. Finding your designated seats is quite easy. But if you should have problems in finding your seat, there are many friendly Key Arena staff members waiting to help in any way they can!
The Arena offers many different choices in food and drink vendors, all placed in easily accessible places through out the arena. Prices are somewhat high, but I think that is to be expected for a sports arena. Some examples of vendors are: Dreyer's Ice cream, Columbia Winery, and Starbucks coffee. Examples of prices: Bottled water..$2.25. Beer from brewery...$6. Soda...$2 and up.
The prices for seats range from very affordable ($18) to quite high (over $100). But there are prices in the middle of both ranges that are also affordable.
Half time shows are interesting and exciting. Key Arena has many contests and give-aways during the game. Fans are an important part of Key Arena and the Sonics definately let you know that!
Parking can be some what tricky. There is plenty of parking around Key Arena and the Seattle Center but it does get very crowded and busy right before and directly following the game. Parking Prices range from $3 and up.
Another wonderful aspect of Key Arena is that it is located in a popular area of downtown Seattle. It sits only a few hundred yards from the Seattle Center and the Space Needle. Located right outside the main doors of the Key Arena is the beautiful Seattle Center water fountain. The accessability of the Arena, and the surrounding sites and activities make going to a Sonics game even more inviting. Plan ahead, pack a picnic, and make a day out of visiting Seattle, the Seattle Center, and Key Arena!!
