I never dreamed that as a "Gamecock" Fan that I would ever in my lifetime have anything good to say about Clemson University! You see in South Carolina your either a Gamecock or a Tiger, there is no in between! It is one of college footballs longest rivalry. So let me apoligize to all the Clemson fans for having such bad luck as to have to attend South Carolina's 2nd university.
All kidding aside I am writing this opinion on "Death Valley", better known as the home of the Clemson Tigers. This is a very beautiful football arena. To me it was like walking into Notre Dame for the 1st time.
Clemson is located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, and yes Clemson is the name of the town also!Death valley is a strange football stadium in the way it was laid out.Could have something to do with the designer being a Clemson grad. There is really no bad seats in this stadium. It is built in a hole and the seats are all above the playing field.
This stadium is not easily accessable on gameday but the trouble is worth it.There are traffic jams but that is expected on gamedays. You have to give Clemson fans thier due because they do support thier team! They really do "Bleed" orange.
This stadium has all the concessions and restrooms one could need. If you have a chance to visit please do. you won't forget it and be sure to follow the paw prints to the stadium. Go "Gamecocks".
