| A_Train's Full Review: Raymond James Stadium |
Whether from the field, or in the seats, the Raymond James Stadium is one of the most impressive in the league. Despite it's rather low crowd capacity (only around 67,000) The stadium has state of the arts electronica and it's very comfortable as I've found.
Though I've only been in the stands a few times (for USF games) I know that the restroom facilities are great in comparison to other stadiums in the NFL. Green Bay's Lambeau Field has poor restroom facilities and the Minnesota Vikings Metrodome has out of control sound abilities(Good for concerts, bad for football games).
Raymond James Stadium is open air with grass turf. The fans are terrific and their support is unbelievable. I love the new addition of the Buccaneer Cove (a LARGE section in the north end zone featuring an 1800's two-story seaport and, you've got it, a pirates ship). The ship's "cannons" fire every touchdown. There are concessions stands and areas to purchase Bucs merchandise in Buccaneers Cove. This just adds a terrific touch of ambiance to an already great atmosphere.
In the great tradition of historic football fields, I know that Raymond James Stadium will be the next Lambeau Field (This comment was not meant to provoke terrible thoughts of heresy, just a comparison of two great franchises and their equally nice facilities.)
