Pros:the new renovations, the awesome feeling
Cons:IU fans
The Bottom Line: go there. it's worth the trip from wherever and i know you won't be disappointed.

one word...WOW! Ross Ade Stadium is in the middle of a MAJOR transformation from an old, albeit nice, stadium...to a newer VERY NICE stadium. Renovations are taking place right now to make the concourses larger, add restrooms, and make it easier to get around. It is also starting to look much better than it used to. There is a new press box that spans a whole 131 yards! The seating capacity is dropping because of the addition of club seating but if ticket demand continues to rise as it has since Joe Tiller has arrived at Purdue there will be an addition of 2 upper decks...increasing seating to a very large 80,000+ seats. The feel at Ross Ade is electric as the student section and John Purdue club members really get into the games and make some noise. The band only adds to the atmosphere as it's one of the best bands in the country. Parking can be a problem but there are shuttles running to and from the stadium all the time to the various parking spots around campus and that makes for a very short walk. I haven't really tried the food...stadium food is always expensive. The fans at Purdue are great...although i wouldn't advise wandering into the student section if you are an opposing fan..they don't take too well to that. Most student sections don't though. Overall, Ross Ade is a very good football experience and as the team and the stadium continues to grow, will become a better and better experience that someday will match those of the greatest football schools in the country such as Michigan, Ohio State, and Penn State.
