I am not a UNLV alumnus, but I have supported the team since moving to Sin City. The stadium is very nice, and in a rarity in these financial times, parking is free. It should be, because there are few landmarks in the unpaved parking area (desert soil is hardened like concrete from the sun and lack of rain) and finding your car after a game can take an hour unless you were fortunate enough to park next to something visible that doesn't move.
The stadium itself is comfortable with good sight lines, and restrooms and concessions seldom have long lines. Stadium employees are fan-friendly and helpful.
Perhaps someday UNLV will put a team on the field worthy of the stadium. Unfortunately, basketball is still king here even all these years after the Rebels hoopsters were actually good. The only sellouts occur when teams like Wisconsin play here, schools with large alumni bases in Las Vegas and fans who pile into the desert to escape the bad weather back home.
