While even the end zone has a fair view for watching a game, anyone over 6 feet tall watches in pain. Soldier Field does have a lot of mystique associated with it, and last year I even stayed for the entire Packers game in 35 degree weather, with pouring rain that would NOT turn to snow to give us relief from our misery. I have seen a game from the 50 and several games from less spectacular seats, including the end zone. As many people will agree, many stadiums have far worse views from the cheap seats than we get in Chicago. However, the reason the Bears have been trying to move for ages to the suburbs, is that the stadium seats (benches not fold downs) are horribly uncomfortable. They give you about 20 inches across so everyone is smushed together (although not a bad thing in the freezing cold) and the leg room is terrible. Even if you are a woman and your knees are not scraping against the row in front of you, the entire row has to get up out of their seat if someone wants to get out to go the concessions, bathrooms, etc. And let me tell you, the fans of the Chicago Bears LOVE their $4.75 cups of Old Style so there is a constant stream of people coming and going.

The Bucs, Vikes and Lions all have a better stadium and that is just the teams in the same conference. Good Luck!
