Pros: Grass Field, Great view from anywhere in the stadium. Amenities in surrounding area.
Cons: Hot,uncomfortable seats,miserable restrooms,inadequate food service.
The Bottom Line: SunDevil is not recommended for Professional sports. Fans paying over 30$ a seat should have more amenities. Suggest eating in Tempe prior to the game. Parking is reasonable.

| azlady's Full Review: Sun Devil Stadium |
It is September and it's 101 degrees. Today is the Cardinals first home game of the season and I am optimistic. Armed with bottled water, I have begun the two block hike to Sun Devil stadium. Despite what people may say, one does NOT get used to the heat in Arizona!
Entering the stadium, I see that as usual everyone around me is wearing colors from the other team. Muttering under my breath, I begin the walk up the ramp to the upper deck. As is my usual habit, I visit the restroom first. My face is red and I am hot! I wonder if they replaced the handle on the paper towel machine? Nope! Carefully, I pull the metal lever down so as not to cut my hand. Next it's on to my seat!
Oh Goodie, I am one of the first ones on our bench! For 37.50 one gets a small-allotted space on a bench. To get your very own seat, a ticket price of $50 and up is required. This may be acceptable for college but it is not for the NFL. I have seat 15. Seat 14 does not belong to a season ticket holder, which means every week is touch and go. I watch each person as they huff and puff their way up the stairs to their seats. Please let a skinny person take the seat next to me! One by one they all trail by until the inevitable happens. Here comes a 250 lb. Wide body and he’s heading my way! This guy is not obese, he’s just big and he has seat 14. After several minutes of trying to get seat 13 to move down we get situated and I have now ¾ of seat 15 which I paid 37.50 for.
Halftime arrives. The Cardinals are only behind by 7 as I make my way through the crowds to the restrooms. Already, the toilets are overflowing and I tipp-toe through the mess, wash my hands and once again try to avoid getting cut on the paper towel holder. The concession stands are jammed and inadequate.
Finally, the misery is over in more ways then one. The Cards loose the game and I drag my hot drained body out of the stadium and go home. I am luckier then most at this stadium. I pay a premium to sit on the west side of the stadium. This means I don’t have to stare into the sun for most of the game. Otherwise, not only would I be hot but I’d also have a headache! Guess what? I’ll do it again next week though cause I love football! Such is the dilemma of a Cardinal fan.
