Your comment on fans throwing back HR balls by opposing teams, reminds me of an incident that happend when I visited Wrigley. One of the Reds hit a HR and, of course, it was thrown back onto the field. The ball worked it's way back to the Reds 3rd base coach, Ray Knight, who threw the ball into the crowd over the home dugout. Well everybody cheered when a Cubs fan threw the ball back out onto the field, AGAIN. Knight just smiled and tossed it into the dugout. Another unforgettable evening at Wrigley.
