I like these Sterilite laundry Baskets.  They are cheap and help keep my family and I more organized.  My problem was that my kids were trying to drag their hampers into my laundry room.  I put a stop to that when I purchased laundry baskets.  Before getting the Sterilite laundry baskets, I had purchased tinier round baskets.  These baskets were not able to hold a lot of clothing, and broke quickly. My kids were trying to stuff these baskets to the brim, and I ended up throwing them out pretty quickly.

The color of these baskets are white, and they have handles and holes for ventilation I suppose. These baskets are made out of a mostly durable plastic.  I think that for the price of only $4 per basket, I am getting my money's worth.  I am able to wash a weeks worth of clothes per person and it fit comfortably in one basket.  I like the width of these  baskets because I can actually fold and organize a lot easier.  I will then place the basket next to my children's door.  When they come home from school they know what to do, they put their clothes away.  The baskets are very roomy, and light to carry (when empty.)  The handle is comfortable, and I don't experience any slipping when toting back and forth. 



As long as you use these baskets for what they are intended for and don't over stuff them too bad, these baskets should last quite a while.  I do have a large Mastiff/Hound dog and for some reason if he sees one of these baskets empty, he feels the need to stuff himself into one of these baskets. I guess he feels more secure, and evidently thinks it is more comfortable than laying on his dog pillow that I paid an arm and a leg on.  I also have a kindergartner that finds the need to grab her pillow and a small blanket and every single barbie doll that she owns. She will sit in these baskets and pretend she is on a boat while watching television.  My oldest daughter uses them too. She likes to lug stuff around between here and where ever.


Cleaning these baskets aren't too difficult.  I spray them down with a bit of bleach water, and wipe down with a paper towel or two.  They could be used for many more things than just laundry.  I am trying to keep them for laundry use only, but the temptation to snag my baskets is very high when it comes to other family members and pets.  Overall, I will recommend and be a repeat purchaser.
