Pros:THUMBS UP FROM OSAGE COUNTY FIRST GRADE
The Bottom Line:
Included in this well rounded collection are Welcome, Thank You, A Note From Your Teacher, Happy Birthday, Smiley Faces and a General Purpose Anything Is Possible.
NOTE: as with many of the items I review in this category the items are not toys, game pieces, game machines, game cards or game devices or Soft ware or Office Supplies per se, rather these are classroom resource type materials, designed by educators, produced by an education, school, instruction centered publisher; and are items intended for use with Early Education, primary and older age Elementary students in both public school or home school setting as well as for use by parents who are working to help their children with learning content areas.
This product is a packet of post cards
Teacher Created Resources™ Postcard Pack offers a diversity of themed postcards suitable for classroom usage. Included in this well rounded collection of 4 x 6 inch cards are Welcome, Thank You, A Note From Your Teacher, Happy Birthday, Smiley Faces and a General Purpose Anything Is Possible.
Welcome offers a peek into the classroom of yesteryear with teacher desk, slate black board, globe, flag and teacher chair. I regularly have a post card prepared on school registration day, from time to time I use this particular one, hand one to a new Osage County Firstie and tell him/her that I will place one just like it on the wall right where our First Grade door will be open so that he/she can track the red line from the elementary door to the classroom door where I will be waiting. The red line is red duct tape set in place at the distance Little Learners need to stand away from doors so we will not be whacked by opening doors.
Thank You bordered in black sprinkled with white dots is a pretty card having multi hued, stylized flowers surrounding a white area featuring shaded blues proclaiming THANK YOU. I like having a card handy for those moments when a Little Learner brings something to the classroom. A thank you card always brings a smile to small countenance.
A Note From Your Teacher appears as a slate blackboard with apple accent, chalk sticks and eraser, with words A Note From The Teacher. Chalkboard is bordered first with white and then apple green. I like this versatile, quick note for classroom usage. Jotting Well Done, Good Try or You Did It helps reassure Little Learners that they are achieving hope for results and are making progress needed.
Happy Birthday is a card filled with joy, optimism and hope. The blue center section is filled with balloons; I don’t know a child who does not like balloons. HAPPY BIRTHDAY is emblazoned upon a ribbon across the face of the card. The center is banded by a homey chintz print having gifts placed upon it, the outer border is red sprinkled with white dots. Birthdays are a very important occasion for Little Learners. Having a supply of commemoratives including cards, award, certificates and cake accents make a nice cache of goodies for Little Learners to carry home or display on their pinning boards.
Smiley Faces filled with dazzling smiling faces is a dandy in shades of yellow, blue, green, red, magenta and purple. Osage County First Grade is very fond of smiley faces whether cards, stickers, stamps, or hand drawn. A Smiley with or without a note penned on the back always brings a smile to a small face when it is left on a Little Learner table. I like to have a variety of attaboy type cards available for those moments when Little Learners need a little extra inspiration.
General Purpose Anything Is Possible featuring a saddle shoe clad, dungaree wearing moppet paint brush in hand before a picket fence epitomizes the phrase as her paint swipes leave a bower of brilliant, multi hued blossoms. This card is particularly pleasing to the female continent of Osage County First Grade.
Note: Specific packet received may or may not appear precisely as image indicates, nonetheless, each of the cards is colorful, functional and provides a quick note for teacher to use to encourage, inspire and motivate Little Learners.
Crafted using quality raw materials meeting industry standards and compliance regulations pertaining to goods for use with small children, papers are durable, well made, printed using non hazardous inks in child pleasing, dazzling colors.
I have long used Postcards in the classroom as a way to provide tangible, quick, notable communiqué between myself and Little Learners. Packet shown includes Welcome Cards help ease some of the concern Little Learners harbor as the new school term begins. Giving a Little Learner a top quality, durable, card stock Post Card printed with multicolored, child pleasing ink tints to hold and to compare with the one placed at the First Grade classroom door helps to reassure my new Firsties that they will be able to locate the First Grade Classroom without problem.
Happy to recommend Teacher Created Resources™ Postcard Pack.
