AWESOME!!! Well that one word says it all!!
I have been watching GH for 25 years now. I was six years old when I started watching it. Back then it was on in the mornings here early mornings 9:30.
I have always watched this show daily. Thank God they invented VCR's. Even when I was in school when I could not watch it my mother or my best friends mom would tell us what happened and then Soap Opera digest came out and it helped keep us informed on the story line and the comes and goings go the actors.
Remember when Luke and Laura finally got married? I was able to stay home from school just to watch it. What a great wedding. The park scenes were wonderful. OH the good old days of when Laura and Bobbie hated each other, Luke and Scott, Monica and Allen were getting married and divorced (oh wait they still do that) Robert and Anna oh and their daughter Robin who was ok until she cut her hair off then got an attitude. Thank the Powers that BE she is not on the show any more.
I like the mix on this show. They have old people and young people interact with the show. Lila is great I love the scenes she did with Jason (Steve Burton). I will miss Steve now that he has left the show. I also respect the fact that they remember Steve Hardy, sorry his real name I can't recall right now but will once I hit the send button. They have him in the beginning show credits great respect to a man that was on it since day one.
There have been times when the story line as ho hum the alien was one. I fast forward a lot during that time. Now you have Sarah Brown, as Carly she is great always gettting her self into trouble her stories are always good. I can wait for Luke and Laura to get back together. They have just added A Martainz (sp) to the show I was not thrilled at first but boy he is a great addition to this fabalous crew. He fits right in as if he has always been there.
What I like most about GH is the fact that it can take you away from daily issues, that is what soaps are supose to do. Then it can turn it all around and bring you back down to earth with heart felt stories AIDS for example. They hold a Nurses Ball every year. The actors perform for the crew and we get to see what else they can do besides do lines. It is a great week's worth of shows all while they are actually raising money by selling T-shirts and having people remember those that have this illness.
If you are looking for a soap to watch you must try GH it really can keep you laughing and crying all at the same time.
