You neglected to mention that BBCA will not allow any mention of Eastenders on their website. They edit or delete any references in messages. That is the level of customer service that a consumer can expect.
So if you are reading this review and trying to decide whether this product is worth the money. It's not.

I totally agree (Reply to this comment)

Same old, same old. The one original program was removed. I'm boycotting BBC America in protest. I almost wish it were harder to do so I could feel more satisfaction but it's too easy. There's nothing on except repeats, endless commericals, self promotion of the repeats. A disgrace. A waste of airwaves. We deserve something better.

I am not part of any organization, I'm an individual who is tired of seeing all of my favorite programs- many of which were mentioned in the review- removed from the channel line up and replaced by DIY shows. The comment does not diminish from the facts- Changing Rooms 43 times in one week- Ground Force 27 times in one week. That's the point- not whether or not a particular show was removed.

True, this comment might not have been here if EE were still on. EE fans were willing to suffer the endless repeats of DIY all week (not that I watched them) as long as we got our fix of EE. I know that's how I felt, anyway; I used to watch BBCA a lot two years ago when I first got it, but less and less as time went on and the boredom set in. I can watch BBC news and Britcoms on PBS, I don't need BBCA.

The only reason this review was written was because Eastenders was canceled by BBC America. If that hadn't happened, this review would not exist. There is an organized effort by Eastenders fans to deliberately skew the ratings on this board as promulgated by their website.

I haven't gone to channel 226 on my cable since EE was cancelled. And you know what, I don't miss the channel at all! I'm getting EE from friends in UK and I'm really enjoying watching it without the 100 commercial interruptions for Changing Rooms and Orange Glo!!!

Have to agree with you. (Reply to this comment)

My weekly viewing is sadly missing without Eastenders. I just couldn't wait for Saturday to arrive and I would be glued to my chair.
BBC America has certainly gone down in my estimation.
Susie.
